Newcastle youngster Michael Chopra is being chased down by league one club Barnsley. Michael Chopra was on loan at Oakwell last season, but manager Ritchie said he doesnt think he willl come back on loan.
Chopra is only a fringy player for
Newcastle, and I doubt he will ever play first team football for them, only in the Carling Cup and the intertoto cup. Chopra would be an excellent signing for Ritchie and Barnsley and would state true ambition at Barnsley.
Barnsley who released "star" striker Michael Boulding last season will be looking for a good long term replacement. And they beleive Chopra would be perfect to fit the bill.
