Duscher looked set to leave Depor last summer with the likes of Newcastle, Manchester United and Tottenham all interested, but saw a move fail to materialise because of Depor's €10 million (£6 million) asking price.
With his contract set to expire at the end of the season, the 27-year-old now wants his future to be resolved in January one way or the other. Talks over a contract extension have stalled and Duscher is looking for what he considers a suitable offer or for Depor to cash in on him. "I am looking for a definitive solution from the club one way or the other after the unbelievable situation I was in last summer," he stated. "I just want to be calm and settled, that is key for any player." It seems the South American would prefer the chance of a fresh challenge after six years at the Riazor and admits he is drawn by the prospect of England. "For me English football would be a good solution because I have received offers from several clubs there and believe my style of game would adapt very well to the Premier League," he added. |
