Thought the girls played well and were unlucky in the end. Pitty they couldn't make more of the crosses coming in from the left. Great performances from Fara Williams and Rachel Unitt. Shame to see Kelly Smith go off as she had a big influence in the game. Keep it up girls and Sweden shouldn't be a problem!

I feel that the whole laydeez football thing in this country is held back by the lack of support by the male population. The whole football is not for girls thing is wrong and anybody who enjoys a sport should feel free to participate IMO.

They were unlucky but the defense was caught napping in the most important time of the game1

They had the chances to kill the game off and let in 2 simple goals!

To be fair the equaliser was a classic to grace any pitch but the defence for the winner was at sixes and sevens!

But......They need now to win the last game and that is always a good thing as the concentration to succeed will be 100%!

Good luck Saturday!

Agreed!
I think it will be a great encounter, and you will see these women playing out of their skins on Saturday. For anyone who said womens football is boring, I would encourage you all to view this match and cheer on the girls.
