Exley sure England will get point |

England's Vicki Exley is confident the hosts will reach the last four of Euro 2005 despite defeat against Denmark.
They need at least a point against Sweden in their final group match on Saturday and the midfielder thinks more good home support could prove vital. "Belief is high. We know a draw will do the job and we can go into the game knowing it will be enough, but we will still be trying to win it," she said. "And if we can get that support again on Saturday it will be great." Exley, 29, was a half-time substitute in the 2-1 reverse against the Danes who came from behind with two goals in the final 10 minutes. "We felt we were the better team on the night," she added. "I thought we played tremendously well and we were unlucky to concede two late goals as we were holding on okay. "The spirit in the side at the moment really is great and we feel that we can beat anyone. "We've been on a great run recently and hopefully we can carry that on to Saturday to give us the result we need." |
