Was just reading the best player ever and just wonered everyones thoughts on the best english player ever. As it is only my secong post i thought i would make a good use for it. So Who?

owen or beckham the best english players EVER? do me a favour. bobby Charlton Stanley Matthews and Bobby Moore were all better than them 2

Bobby Moore and Shearer. Duncan Edwards had the potential before he got killed in the plane crash. RIP.

David Beckham in his "prime" still doesn't compare with the likes of:

Bobby Charlton
Stanley Matthews
Shearer
Keegan
Gascoigne

and loadsm ore, even Mickey Owen is better
