Please be honest a tell us whether you think that the same technology used now very well in the Supeleague should be introduced in to football?

I remind you of Carrolls Save {Not versus} Tottenham this season - Clearly over the line by 2 feet!

Surely now is the time with all of the cameras around the ground.

Get rid of Refs???

I think that the addittion of certain things will make the game fairer in ways, at least issues like above will be resolved.

Having a fourth official and use of video playback should be used all the time, at least then some players will be stoppped from diving everytime someone gets within half a yard of them!

I do think that new technology would have to be used properly and instead of just the ref having the option of using it, that other officials will be able to correct the ref on his decisions.

im totally against it, what makes football more exciting than rugby is that the decision goes down to the referee and the linesman, if we have the replays for the ref to see, it will take the fun out of the game a bit ! And then what can you debate about Confused

I am totally for this, would make everything fairer and it works in rugby, why not football? There will still be plenty of debate, I would only have it for goals.

i agree it is time for video replays to be used in football , but as above only for decisions involving
goals. There is going to be a decision one day that will cause a team to lose a championship or get
relegated and if like the roy carroll decision that would be grossly unfair .

I am against as well. Decisions should be made by the ref on the field, not some official sitting in front of a video monitor!

I think it should be put in. As we've seen by Carrols Goal.

But, if you watch that match, only a couple of minutes later, Man Utd should have had a penalty, but it wasn't given. So really, 0-0 was a fair result as it would have only been 1-1 anyway.

EDIT:I'd have it for Goals and Penalties.

there should be, i mean Tottenham could of had an important win, and it would of made a difference, we would be in a higher place now! Man U may of had a penalty claim, but that does not mean it would have been 1-1. what are you, a child? a penalty does NOT necessacerily mean a goal

Tell me, what would be the point in a ref if there is some guy watching a tele ? Why make the spot perfect ? What would you debate about, tehre would be no more of did that cross the line ? Was is a penalty or not ? Keep it away from football !
