Sylvain Legwinski will try to revive his career at Fulham despite being told that the club will not "stand in his way should they receive a reasonable offer."
The Frenchman endured an injury-blighted campaign during which the Cottagers needed late season victories to steer clear of the relegation zone.
However, reports that the midfielder has been released by the Cottagers have been refuted by the player's agent, Craig Hutchinson.
"Speculation has said Sylvain Legwinski has been released" Hutchinson told skysports.com. "This is completely untrue. He hasn't been released at all.
"Due to the shape of the squad Chris Coleman wants to make at Fulham next season - he has been told that the club won't stand in his way should they receive a reasonable offer.
"But he doesn't want to move. He's not interested in quitting the club and rather, wants to prove himself again.
"He'd admit that he didn't have the best of seasons, but this is due to injuries and being played out of position.
"A lot of niggling injuries prevented him from playing to his potential, but he knows he can return to his top form."
