Norway's goal-laden win over rivals Italy set up a semi-final tie against Sweden at Euro 2005.
A Lise Klaveness strike put Norway ahead only for Melania Ganniadini to equalise with a near-post effort.

Marit Christensen, Solveig Gulbrandsen and Dagny Mellgren put Norway 4-1 up before Ganniadini pulled one back.

A curling Klaveness shot was matched in quality by a rasping Elisa Camporese, but Norway won and went through to the last four after France lost to Germany.
