I see them beat Belgium only, to be honest.
Maybe Switzerland as well.....

If Switzerland fields Ramona Bachman I think Welsh will have to settle for second to last Smile

Exactly why I said "maybe" Wink
But Switzerland, just like Wales is a one-player team
so basically it's Bachmann vs Ludlow and anything can happen Cool

Ludlow is more experienced though,
and dangerous, especially in the air Cool
Plus she's a natural born warrior Cool

Bachmann is quick and likes to shoot on goal
- haha lol that's her job Mr. Green

Just my observations Wink
We'll see what happens.

Wales captain Jayne Ludlow was looking on the positive side after her team's 6-0 defeat against Germany.

"Playing against the World Champions was always going to be hard," she said, "but were hoping to build on what we've done today. "We have a number of games coming up, which is a change for us, so we'll be working on a number of things and in a year's time I'm sure we'll see a different Wales team.

"It's been a funny week, with highs and lows, but I appreciate the effort the girls put in today and hopefully this time next year we'll be a stronger outfit for it.

"We expected it to be hard and it was, but for half an hour in the second half we did brilliantly and we kept them at bay.

"After the game, the players said that this was the hardest game out of the way and we can look forward to the other games now."

Jessica Fishlock, arguably Wales' best player on the day, added: "It was really tough as they were such a good side and we don't play against players like that very often.

"It was a hard match to start with but we know can get better as we go along."

France will be without first-choice goalkeeper Sarah Bouhaddi
for their UEFA WOMEN'S EURO 2009 qualifier
against Slovenia next Wednesday.

The FC Juvisy No1 has been forced to withdraw
after breaking her thumb in training,
meaning a call-up for Montpellier HSC's Céline Deville
and a possible start for Paris Saint-Germain FC custodian Bérangère Sapowicz.

Coach Bruno Bini, whose team opened their Group 3 campaign
with a 6-0 defeat of Greece last month,
has five players from champions Olympique Lyonnais in his squad
for the fixture in Angouleme. Slovenia lost 5-0 to Serbia
three weeks ago in their return to top-level competitive internationals.

Well Bérangère Sapowicz is replaced by Laëtitia Stribick due to a knee injury, first call up for the Soyaux keeper. So we will play with our 3rd choice Keeper Confused

Euro 2009
