Scott Parker would be a great signing if he plays how he wants to play in centre mid (free role)

Brilliant signing and as MR HANDYMAN said he needs to play a free role in the cnetre of midfield for him to succed. With a solid midfielder next to him, like Lampard Makele. He will play the Lampard role but now they need a Makele.

It will be good to see him playing again, its such a shame when good talents like that sit on the benches all season at a club like Chelsea

But aren't Newcastle a shambles at the moment?
Poor directors, manager with no real success, decent players leaving
(although a certain racist scumbag appears on his way out too, if anyone will have him).

I backed Newcastle for relegation at 33/1 for next year, and nothing is happening to make me regret it yet. And I don't think the club will be the best move for Scott Parker.

You've got a point twmcat but i think Newcastle are nowhere near finished in the transfer market this off season, they've got a lot of work to do tho.

It's a case of rebuilding for Sounness, however if I was him, I would try to keep Dyer and Jenas. By the looks of it Jenas could be on his way, which in my oppinion is a blow.

I like Newcastle, and really do wish them success.

yeah i think Scott Parker has been wasted at Chelsea , there are so many stars trying to get a place in the starting line up someone has to lose out . Newcastle will give him the chance to play regular first team football and he will do well for them i think.

Scott Parker has finally signed for the Geordies!
