ye that definalty is our strongest team, but i dont think we could afford to play 3 at the back until we get a better defender to go with taylor and ramage.

but we do have enough quality in the midfield to play 5, we could easily play 6 Laughing

mine is not too different that the present injury enforced 11....... Personally would like to see Duff and Nobby as wing backs - both have impressed when pressed to cover the nether regions - and I think Nobby will happily play for the colours, but I cant see Duff agreeing to that long term. Goal - Given is a given, although more than happy to use Krul - I can see Harper finally being sold at the EOS. Wing Backs - Duff & Nobby - no more Carr or Baby please Centre B - Ramage and Taylor - Quite clearly work well together. Moore is an adequate squad member but thats all. Forwards - Sibs and Martins - looks like it can work well, and with Dyer swinging in from Right will scare the pants off many defences. Sorry but no place for Owen - even when fit. I know he will score goals but the boy is not the player he has been and hes too lightweight for the megabucks we pay. We need a target and Sibs is awesome for this. Midfield - defensive - Butt Left - Milner Right - Dyer Centre - Emre (Contentious I know- but Although I think Parkers work rate is phenomenal - we dont win much when hes on the pitch - personally I reckon the team struggle to know where he is since he floats around so much. Emre knows what hes best at - and does it well - leave it to Butt to clean up the messy stuff. Zogs as first sub - clearly his confidence is down after the Duff signing, and AW doing a bit of taping up.... So that my 11 wots others opinion. Cheers

i find your views interesting but parker ia nufc through and through. His emotion after his goal against fulham showed that. Butt still makes some mistakes now and again. Owen is a fantastic forward he scored 7 in 10 before getting injured. He scored us scrappy goals which we had been lacking. I am concerned because I dont think Owen/Martins partnership will really work. If Huntelaar is signed then I could see Owen possibly leaving. My best 11 would be:

Given
Carr
Bernard
Taylor
Ramage
Milner
Duff
Parker (Butt)
Emre
Martins (Owen)
Sibierski
