Attention any coaches living in North Tyneside/ Newcastle |

Hello, I am currently doing my level 1 and am due for assesment on saturday.
I have been involved in local football for many years, I am now 40 years old. I have been doing some work for Wallsend Town, currently in the Northern Alliance league. They want to start a brand new youth section and have asked me to oversee it. The idea I have is to try and run the new 'Wallsend Town Academy' teams using the Ajax system. We hope to have as many teams as possible with all the children playing in different positions until they get to under 12's where there 'best' position will be found. We hope to have squads of approximately 15 or 16 for 11's and above and obviously 10 for mini soccer. We hope to hold training sessions for under 5's right up to under 18's. Both girls and boys. It is then hoped that the players will progress into the reserves then first team. We also want all the teams to play the same system, as Ajax, its exciting times. There is huge potential in Wallsend with plans for a new club house on the ground site, but this won't happen if we can't get the qualified coaches in place. You don't have to be level 1 yet but should would be expected to complete the course in the near future. You should have a valid first aid certificate, have attended a child protection workshop and be happy to have a CRB check carried out. If you want more information please contact me on 07940-976057, or leave contact details in reply to this post. Many thanks Andrew |
