Stefan Maierhofer is believed to be on his way to
Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
The 6ft 8in forward is out of contract at Bayern Munich in the summer, and after revealing he will leave the German giants, he admits he is flattered with speculation of an end of season move to White Hart Lane.
"There is some truth in the rumours linking me with
Tottenham and I find it very flattering," Maierhofer is quoted in the News of the World. "I have a number of offers on the table for me.
“I'll study them with my agent during the winter break and we'll choose the best.
"I will leave Bayern next summer when my contract us up. They have offered me a new deal that doubles my salary. But I have been with them for two years and I just don't want to play for their reserves any more."
