Valencia medical chief Rafael Llombert is to travel to Holland to see the results of an examination of Patrick Kluivert's knee and decide whether he is in a fit state to sign for the club.
A deal has been agreed between Valencia and Kluivert who spent last season with
Newcastle but major concerns arose after the 28-year-old Dutch international underwent a routine medical.
"I hope that the situation resolves itself satisfactorily. He had a small operation and now is recovering from this. At the moment the vibes are positive," said Llombert.
