I went to the Wales game believing that Wales were already out of this group, but it seems that Russia had fielded an ineligible player against Wales (apparently should have been suspended through yellow cards), and it was possible that Wales were back in with a shout.

It turned out that Poland secured the group by beating Russia, but if Russia had not missed a penalty, it might have been totally different depending on whatever UEFA decided.

The early stages showed Finland to be the more skillful, but Wales showed a lot of spirit, and took the lead through Kayleigh Greening. Finland fought back and equalised after a nice run and shot by (I think) Linda Sallstrom.
It was a fair scoreline for the half.

In the second half, Shan Jones came on and changed the game with her running at the defence. Wales broke through several times and eventually Gwennan Harries got the winner.

Both teams had come close, especially from corners, and Finland thought they'd equalised late on after they'd increased their pressure, but it was ruled offside:

I'd like to thank the FAW official who saw Ron with his camera and me writing down the team numbers - he gave us official FAW bibs so we could go anywhere, and also an official teamsheet, and said we could help ourselves to programmes.
