Kick It Out are part of an independent group of individuals who have been
looking at the issue of Asian football development and would like to invite
you to attend the launch of a new strategy document, 'Asians Can Play
Football - An Agenda for Change'.

The event will take place in the Mezzanine Suite at Arsenal FC on Thursday
22 September 2005, between 12.30pm and 2.00pm. A light buffet lunch will be
available.

The aim of the document is to assess the progress that has been made in the
game since the launch of the 1996 report 'Asians Can't Play Football', which
highlighted the lack of representation of the Asian community in
professional football, despite the popularity of the sport within Asian
communities.

Almost ten years on, there is widespread feeling within the community that
little has changed, particularly at the professional level. The 'Agenda for
Change' report will set out some of the frustrations from within the
community, offer ideas for development of Asian talent and illustrate
examples of good practice that exist around the country.

The launch of the report will be followed by a conference, in early
November. Further details will be available at the launch.

I would be grateful if you could confirm your attendance to by email or on
020 7684 4884.

I do hope you will be available to attend what will be an important event
and look forward to hearing from you in the near future.

Kind regards,

Kick It Out
