Barcelona trimmed Sevilla's lead in La Liga to three points on Thursday, but missed a chance to get closer as they were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Atlético Madrid.

In a game marked mostly by the color yellow - nine bookings were handed out on the evening - it appeared like Barça were in good shape to claim three points after Ronaldinho put them in front four minutes before half-time.

But a resilient Atlético team came back and equalized right on the hour mark through Carlos Aguilera, stunning the Camp Nou faithful.

Barcelona pushed for the winning goal mightily, but the Atlético defense managed to hold out for a draw.

I watched the first half, Barca deserved the lead at half time but again just like last year they couldnt beat Atletico.
And by the way, it was Sergio Aguero that scored, not Carlos Aguilera

I had some money on Ronaldinho for first scorer, but it was an accumulator bet (5 games) and i lost the money because of the only game i thought i had all figured out! OFI Crete only managed a draw against Larissa at home, for the Greek league. I guessed right with Strasbourg, Sporting Gijon and Alaves. It was a 1/60 bet.
