Birmingham City manager Steve Bruce has admitted that they're struggling to agree terms with Deportivo La Coruna for striker Walter Pandiani.

Deportivo want a minimum of around £4million for the Uruguayan international, 29, the stirker scored 4 goals while on a loan deal to the birmingham outfit last season in 14 games.

But Birmingham want to make an up front payment of around £1.5m with another ~£1million based on goals, appearences....etc

Bruce said: "It is fair to say we are a million miles apart in our valuations."

Pandiani's agent Francis Miller admitted: "Deportivo are making things hard in terms of tying up a deal."
