Kristian Sarkies i think has been given a rough go this year at Melbourne Vicotry. Most games he is named on the bench and sometimes brang on. Now i rekcon this kid is more than capable of playing football in europe and doing quiet well at it too. Very young good midfeilder who deserves a good chance too prove his worth

What does everyone think of him?

He's got a lot of potential but he's not yet up to the standard set by Fred, Muscat and Brebner this season. I think he struggles a little with the physicality of the A-League but if he's still developing as a footballer he should probably stick around - ideally with Melbourne so he's at home and settled, but otherwise I could see him being very good for Queensland or even a replacement for Aloisi in Adelaide. I agree though, he must be playing football - it would be a shame for him to play as little as he has this season.

As for Europe, I think he's got an opportunity to develop more here and go over as a more complete footballer in a couple of years rather than get stuck fighting it out in reserves teams while struggling to cope with language and cultural differences. It would be a real gamble, but of course if he got lucky it could really work for him.

I wouldn't care if he went to somewhe like the Championship. Nick Ward is playing well at QPR but think he shouldn't go i'd rather them let go of ferrante and lia who this season are completely out of place

Yeh, ive always thought he is a future European star.

It would be good if the A-league got up around some of the playing standards in some of the lesser known top divisions in Europe, e.g. Sweden.
Then players wouldn't have to worry about going to Europe unless they were going to go play top flight football.

But certainly he is Europe material, and i think he should take the gamble, if given an opportunity, wouldn't you?

Nathan Burns is another candidate.
