Just had on Channel Ten news that Sydney FC will be fined $129,000 and docked 3 competition points for salaray cap breaches!

Great news for us if the appeal is unsuccesful. When we beat them on NYD that will put us 1 point ahead of them!

SAME OLD SYDNEY, ALWAYS CHEATING!

Yeah, can't complain. The club has ended up doing the wrong thing and of course they should pay for it. I think they're lucky that they've only lost 3 points but I gather consideration was given because of the club's helpfulness as all of this apparently went on under the previous administration. Still, whatever the full story, it's pretty stupid that the club was doing this from the outset of the league.

In any case I hope we struggle this season, because I want to see the team rejuvenated either through different players, a different manager or at the very least a different footballing approach. I haven't bothered even going to a match this season, it feels like punishment enough watching them on TV let alone paying for it as well.

Too Bad, not to be for NUFC.

Sydney triumph in controversy.

Yeah it was a shame and very disappointing. We had our biggest crowd ever at a football match in Newcastle and they were treated to one of our worst games, alot of it due to the state of the pitch.

Pitch sorted their game more than ours. We like to play nice free flowing football, alot of quick passing. They play dull slow tempo football, Butcher said that himself after the game.

Expecting at least 15k on Friday against the Mariners.
