K/O of the fa cup may benefit the champions league |
|
last year 5th round was played on the weekend of 18 & 19th of february
and with the fixtures this season we should have a weekend off between the Newcastle away match (10th february) & the away barcelona Champions League match (21st february) whilst barcelona will be playing away to valencia before the CL match Sun, 11th H R Santander (L.L.) Sun, 18th A Valencia (L.L.) Wed, 21st H Liverpool (U.C.L.) ............ they are in a dogfight for la liga and wouldn't want to drop points, and they drop points whenever they play a ronaldinho-less side (like last night against getafe) we have a break before the big match we may have a slight advantage in this tie becaus of the schedule surrounding the first leg, then we can bring it home at Anfield the difference between Arsenal & barcelona is that the barca players aren't as speedy as Arsenal, we should be able to cope with barca speed wise |

i am an optimistic person
december & janurary la liga games for barcelona espanyol away - lost 3-1 getafe away - drew 1-1 atletico madrid home - drew 1-1 real scoiedad home - won 1-0 levante away - drew 1-1 ........ not a team whose form would sound lethal. eto'o & messi still have to come back into the team but whose to say that they'll be rusty and will take some time to recover fully we can beat them over 2 legs. heart says Liverpool, head is undecided |
