Macclesfield Town manager Paul Ince has revealed he is closing in on a number of transfer targets but is in no desperate rush to bring new faces into Moss Rose.
The appointment of Ince as manager in October sparked a resurgence with Macc currently in the midst of an eight-match unbeaten league run.
The Silkmen remain troubled by relegation towards the wrong end of League Two and Ince has targeted some fresh blood in a bid to keep the club in the Football League.
"We've got targets we're looking through and we're looking at it every day," he said.
"There's no rush because there's three weeks before the window shuts. Of course in an ideal world I'd like to think I wouldn't have to bring anyone in because the lads have done ever so well.
"But the way our luck has been with injuries, we need to make that extra push if we're going to stay up.
"The lads have performed miracles since I've been here but sooner or later they're going to run out of steam."
