Went on the FA website and had a look if any residential B courses were available but unfortuntely all the places were taken. Have gone through all the local FA's listed and found a couple courses available but the dates are very spread out. Being from Jersey this is a problem as very costly for flights, therefore the residential courses are my better option. My question is - does anyone know how often the residential courses are run, and if so when?

Thanks

Matt

Last time I checked the FA website, the FA Learning section was in desperate need of an update. It was listing courses that had beeen completed many months earlier. I'm sorry I can't help you directly but I strongly urge you to give the FA a ring and ask them yourself. I'm sure someone somewhere will be able to help you. I understand it must be a pain in the backside, do the Channel Islands not have their own local FA?

thanks

yeah Jersey does have its local FA but it wonly does level 1 course. any further and you have to do it in the UK. Im gonna give the FA a ring after your advice above - the local FA courses seem up to date but the residential ones never seem to change!!

spoken to the FA and they say in 2 weeks time the residential courses for UEFA B course will be updating and coaches can apply for these in due course.

Anyone taken the UEFA B badge? any comments about it? I hear its tough but passable...

hi mate!

im due to take my final assessment for my UEFA 'B' first week in February, im fairly confident i'll pass it but it is a VERY big step up from Level2. Pass rate from what I hear is slightly less than Level2, but not impossible!

Hope you get a place on a course, heard places get snapped up pretty quick!

How much is the course costing these days? My employer thankfully paid for my course!

yeah there is a lot of coaching hours involved and it takes usually between 6-12 months depending on the FA.

thats cool. Im prepared to put the hours in!! lol

Well I have applied for a spot on a residential course now - they have updated sooner than the 2 weeks!!

Looking forward to it though - should be fun. Also has anyone out there done any of the psychology courses through the FA? Just wondered if you found it helpful or not??

Thanks
