Tim Cahill ~ The Return |
|
Everton boss David Moyes has confirmed he would have no hesitation in returning Tim Cahill to the Blues' starting line-up this weekend if the midfielder trains well this week.
The Aussie international has not figured for the Toffees since injuring knee ligaments in an accidental collision with teammate Lee Carsley during the home defeat to Aston Villa in November. Having completed his rehabilitation, Cahill is now training again. With Mikel Arteta suspended for Sunday's visit of Reading, Cahill is in contention for an immediate return to the starting line-up. And Moyes admits that is something that would not concern him. He said: "Tim started full training last Friday and I am hoping he will be available for the game on Sunday. "A lot will depend on how he looks in training this week. "But if I think he is training fine I would have no hesitation about throwing him straight in." Sa-weet! |
