Abel Resino has been appointed coach of Levante following the dismissal of Juan Ramon Lopez Caro.
The former Cuidad de Murcia boss takes over with his new side precariously placed in 17th spot in the Primera Liga, with 18 points from 18 matches.
He will take his first training session with the Levante squad on Tuesday morning.
"Abel Resino has been presented this afternoon as the new Levante coach for the rest of the season," a statement on the official website, read.
"I believe I have the ability to rise to the challenge," Resino said. "I have all the enthusiasm in the world and will dedicate myself to ensuring the club remain in the Primera Liga."
"It will be a challenge for the players and for me, because I arrive with different ideas to the previous coach."
Resino led Ciudad de Murcia to a fourth-place finish in the second division last year. |
