Razz just heard on $ky that Feyanord, have been dumped out of the UEFA cup due to crowd problems in a group game....that means Spurs (thier opponents) will either get a "bye" into next round, or play another team...maybe Nancy... Rolling Eyes

Whats does this crowd trouble involve?

Seems a bit harsh, a large fine would suffice.

usually involves one lot of the crowd fighting with another part of the crowd! Laughing

i think they have been fined approx £40k.....which seems pointless Evil or Very Mad

Yeah, well if these thugs love their team, then this should teach them a lesson.

Good decision by UEFA.

We have won every game in the UEFA Cup so far. He are undefeated on foreign soil (that includes Cardiff Cool ), and we are still in both domestic cups.

We didn't need the Intertoto Cup to qualify, we managed to qualify through our league position.

Are Newcastle still in all competitions???

**Cough**5-1**Cough**

Cool

Total nonsense Shocked It's a ludicrous decision. I'll never agree with this decisions. In my opinion the clubs can't pay for the crowds faults

The decision will probably be that they have to play Wisla Krakow.

Think the decision will actually be that we get a bye, its the most likely scenario I think.

I sincerely hope that we don't get a bye through to the next round. If we did manage to go on and win the tournament then people would just say that we had an unfair advantage and had to play less games. It would certainly take the shine off of it from my point of view.
As for Feyenoord getting thrown out - I think it's a bit ridiculous. I know that they've had crowd problems on several occasions but I thought that their punishment was going to be playing two home games in an empty stadium. I thought that sounded like a fair punishment but it seems that since then there has been a review of the situation and the punishment has been made more severe. If I was a Feyenoord fan (one of the law abiding ones) then I'd be absolutely gutted. I don't think it's right to punish a club to this extent for the actions of a few nutcase supporters "who travelled on their own authority".

Hopefully we'll be allowed to play Wisla Krakow. Smile

No you just dont get it. Most of them were just some hooiligans who wanted to fight! Nancy is only 5 hours driving from netherland so it was a good option! Most of them arent alowd to go in stadiums in Holland so this was a good opportunity! They were completly out of the world, used a lot of (hard)drugs and didnt know what they were doing, we warned nancy/uefa thousens of times NOT to sell without any clubmembership but they wouldnt listen, and now they blame us, the real supporters.

!!! Maybe the match will go through!! we will allmost surely fight against the ban and if the CAS(higher instant for uefa or something) sees is as an importent issue it can be done in 10 days so if we get our right then the match will go ahead!! little chance but at least there is one!

we are now waiting for the argumentation of the uefa for banning us and our jurists will study it, and when they think its unfair (which it IS, our managers already told this fine was way to high) then we will go to the CAS and fight against is!! so with a little bit luck our european season aint over yet.. Smile
