Juventus are said to of offered or thinking about offering Liverpool £50m for their star midfielder Steven Gerrard.

It is in this mornings papers and has been talked about on Sky Sports News.

Could this really happen?

After he signed his contract at the start of the summer in 2005/2006 he pledged his future to the club saying ''I never wanted to leave, i want to give Liverpool the best part of my footballing career'' after he made his sensational U-Turn away from Mourinho and Chelsea who bid £32m for the England Midfielder.

Personally i don't think he will leave Anfield at least for the next 5-8 years and especially to Juventus who are currently in Serie B, Italys 2nd division.
I didn't think he'd hand in a transfer request either after winning the Champions League but he did so really anything could happen.

I hope he stays and hope this is all rumours and hear say.

I highly doubt he's going anywhere...he's the captain and I'm sure he's enjoying his games in the EPL...let's face it, there's no other league in the world that can compete with the EPL....and if he goes, he's definately making the biggest mistake of his career...but again, I don't think he's going Anywhere.
