The Liverpool winger has been out all season with foot and groin injuries and has said he started running for the first time on Tuesday.
He hopes to be back and fit ready to play against Barcelona at The Nou Camp late next month.

Great news and what i want to hear, we will have a full squad minus Luis Garcia and i think we do have a chance of beating them over 2 legs. Just hope we get Kewell the Jewell back firing on all cylinders like the end of last season where he mesmerised defenders and showed the form worthy of paying £5m for him.

It would be great to see a fully fit Harry Kewell, I have my doubts though. It seems to be one injury after another for him

If he is ok though and doesn't get injured i just hope he is in the team and shows us the form he had at Leeds, he was unstoppable.

i truly hope we get kewell back for the barca game as we have really struggled for a good left sided player all season. i personally think he was inspirational towards us winning the fa cup with big performances against man u and Chelsea. and lets not forget his memorable goal against Everton
