Sweden stay optimistic

Sweden coach Thomas Dennerby has remained positive despite losing a number of key players for the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Speaking after naming a 21-woman squad bereft of Caroline Jönsson, Josefine Öqvist and Frida Nordin to travel to China, Dennerby said: “It’s obviously a big blow to lose these players, but we have a strong squad and should be able to fight for medals.”

Umeå FC's Madelaine Edlund and Djurgårdens IF FF’s Linda Forsberg profited those injuries and are now determined to impress. "This is great," said Forsberg, capped once. "It's an adventure and I'll do my best to win a place in the starting XI. If not I'll support the other girls as well as I possibly can."

Legendary striker Hanna Ljungberg is also included despite continued injury problems. "Hanna is fighting her way back and we all know what she's capable of, so I'm in a good mood," Dennerby added.

which song?

I don't know the title of it, the MFF team were singing it with some Swedish singer
and the refrain goes somewhat like: "We are Malmo MFF!!" Wink
Does anyone know a good site for uploading mp3s? Razz

Unbelievable how you guys can wag the dog sometimes Razz

The song is good, the lead singer sings well too
but what I meant by disaster is that the team doesn't really sound like a choir
but that's because they are footballers, not professional singers.
The idea itself and the song are good.
I've never said I didn't like it - show me where I say these words.
If I don't like it, why is it still in my mp3 player after all these years? Razz

So nanananana at all of you Twisted Evil

haha I didn't mean that you have to like it. There's a reason why the girls play football and not are singers... I remember when we record it, and we which was in the recording room had to listened to the girls without music... Sometimes I really got white in the face, it sounds like something from a horror movie.. Shocked Smile
