Hi,

I believe at 13 you can get a referee's qualification, try your local FA...here's a link to the referee's course at the Beds FA.

Good luck

I took a corse a few years back. Been a referee for 3 years before i joined the army in 2000 and couldnt do it anymore.

How much do you get paid for a game over there?
Here we got 120/90NIS (referee/lines man, and 8NIS is 1& you do the math)

It's been a lot of fun but I also got a punch in the head by a player after i sent him off. almost knoked me out. Cost his team the game (they were up 3-1 and it was the 82nd minute) and he was banned for 3 years

Sunday juniors up here is a set rate - £10 for league plus costs, £15 for cups plus costs. Some clubs will give an extra fiver for league games not as a bribe, but to keep you as a regular ref because they are so hard to come by some weeks.
