Bohemians manager Sean Connor is bidding to utilise his contacts in the English professional game to lure Coventry City defender Ben Turner and Birmingham City midfielder David Howland on loan before the start of the eircom League season.
Connor has strong links with Birmingham, and forged a link between the St Andrews club and Sligo Rovers during his spell in charge in the north-west.
And the Belfast man, appointed as new Bohs chief at the end of last season, is reportedly keen on bringing Howland, a 20-year-old Northern Ireland youngster, and highly-regarded Coventry defender Turner to Dalymount Park ahead of the February 28th transfer deadline for eircom League clubs.
Turner, who recently turned 19, has made three first-team appearances for Coventry and impressed in a three-month loan stay at Peterborough United earlier this season.
