7 years since the last victory of Atleti over Real Madrid. Fernando Torres, who had never scored against Real Madrid, made a nice goal. Honestly, Atleti played much better than us and probably deserved to win.

The ref canceled two goals, the first one from Atletico (perea, in the first half), the second one from Real (beautiful and amazing goal by Raul). Cannavaro was fairly sent off (this man is a total disappointment) but Higuain scored his first goal for Real Madrid and settled the final 1-1. But Casillas was the hero (one more time) saving 3 incredible shots with such an amazing stops.

Did anyone watch the game?

I watched the first 20 minutes, good goal by Torres and Atletico looked the better team from what I saw. I saw the sending off too, poor play again from Cannavaro, hes been poor all season and never deserved World Player of the Year - which he got completely based on the World Cup

Did Cassano play or he was on the bench?

I watched the game and it was quite interesting.
Yes Cazzano played and he gave a great through ball to Higuain (who didn't buckle under the pressure and gave a goal...) Smile

Yeah well Laughing you know, Real Madrid is playing so poorly that I need any distraction. And wow you should have seen Diarra yesterday, he got angry at the ref don't know why and he started to yell and yell and the ref showed him a yellow card and he still was yelling, He looked so scary Laughing then the cameraman shows Cassano laughing his @ss off, it was very funny.

Seems they're really good friends though, I remember also Diarra laughing at the mocking of Capello done by Cassano.. at least at Real you keep good humour Laughing

Hahaha!
Clueless Capello sold Ronaldo to AC Milan where he is showing he is not over.
He has also planned not to use beckham, the player who is behind 2 wins( one in CL ).

ETOO is back. The ligua is ours.
I missed Ronnie and Etoo.

Barcelona beats Bilbao at the Nou Camp and then you suddenly forget about the defeats against Liverpool, Valencia and Zaragoza. Let's see if you're able to beat Sevilla next weekend.

Raul, maybe you haven't watched the game. I know. Bilbao is a poor side. It is the way we have beaten them which made me more confident.
It was the barcelona I haven't seen for a while now. It was the barcelona which made us Europe champion.
We will crush Sevilla, that's for sure.

I watched the game, and it wasn't that Barcelona. The champion Barcelona knocked out decent teams with no problems, I see no merits on defeating Bilbao (one of the worst teams in La Liga this season), even Real Madrid beat them Laughing

Real went that low? Laughing
You are still welcome to support Barcelona if you redeem yourself. Razz

My point was, we couldn't beat decent teams because we were lacking the kind of brace seen against Bilbao.
You are right, the next game against Seville will be a good test. If Rijkaard doesn't screw things up, I think we will have no problem defeating Seville.
Puyol and Thuram at the back, and R.E.M in the attack Very Happy Very Happy

Don't mix terms, I admit Real Madrid is playing sooo poorly, but it doesn't mean I will ever support Barcelona. I think we once talked about being a true fan Razz

Hope Sevilla and its stupid president and cheating players beat Barcelona Cool
