Diao's agent Charles Collymore that Steve McClaren's side have entered into 'tentative discussions' regarding the 28-year-old's future, just days after Liverpool signed midfielder Bolo Zenden from The Riverside on a free transfer.

The former Sedan man has also been tracked by a number of English and Spanish outfits after three years in The Premiership, and is looking to find a club that offers more regular first team football than he has experienced at Anfield to date.

We want more football which he is not going to get at Liverpool."

Saying he wants to move to a club where he wants 1st team football even if moving to Uefa Cup contenders.

Not gonna miss him to be honest, just wonder if they could take Josemi aswell.

to be honest i aint seen much of him just heard he's a pile of [beep!]! Liverpool fans how you reckon he'll do at the boro??

From what Ive seen (it aint much tbh), I still think you would be better off without him.
