Shame we didn't see much of berbs tonight, he had maybe his toughest game in a Spurs shirt tonight.

He doesn't want to jeopardise his move to United by getting injured, he's just taking it easy.

you may have a point there mate, but he's the sort of player who won't move after one season with a club. Coming to Spurs was not only a footballing choice but a career choice too, and i'm confident his interests in playing for a club on the rise whilst settling and enjoying life in london will contribute to him not leaving.

Dont worry Towner, Forev is just on the wind up.

Im still confident we can progress taking that 2-1 scoreline back to the lane.

Does anyone know if it will be the same referee for the second leg? Does UEFA work like that?

Think Chimmy is ok to play from what ive heard now. The decision is the other fullback. Tainio or Ifil at left back or Chim at leftback and ifil at rightback.

For me id put Tainio at left back, hes intelligent and tough enough to do a job for us there for one game.

My lineup would be:

_________Robbo
Chimmy King Daws Tainio
Lennon JJ Zok Malbranque
______Keane Berbie

We can go thru with that team, Steed and Lennon charging at their respective fullbacks, Zokora making those forward bombs and the two strikers playing off him.

[beep!] im nervous!! This is a huge game for us, whoever wins it wil be overwhelming favourites to go all the way in my opinion, Sevilla is the best team left in the competition apart from us.

COME ON YOU Spurs!!!!!!!

Gonna tune in for this beastie boy. Think it could be a top European night at the ol' WHL. Hope Spurs can get through.

Ive had a quid on 3-1 to Spurs. The score-line is the same as The United Roma one, So we could see a high-tempo start from Spurs to try and claw back the aggregate score.

Aye, we have to and will come out of the blocks firing, the only thing is do we put away the chances we have in this game???

That is the big question, taking our chances will be key.

We bottled it, Sevilla are playing really well, this is why they are going to win La Liga and the UEFA Cup.

Good game.

Thought Sevilla were gonna do a United after first ten mins.

Paul Robinson is in the worst form of his life. Any shot on target goes in.

Well 2-0 down and we need to score four in the second half to win....

Pretty tough unless you are playing a team that really really is a complete pile of digshit........

.....wait we did that against West Ham so maybe it is possible. Razz

Berbatov hits the bar. Sevilla made the game and is a forteress for the moment, but i think it can change because Tottenham was better at the end of the first half.

But Tottenham need to score 4. Confused

Are you trying to blame him for either of those goals? Get a grip.

No Spurs player can be singled out of that half for playing badly because they have all being completely [beep!] awful!!!!!!!!

Right, half time changes.

Defoe for Malbranque, Keane to left, Tainio up into center mid. 3-5-2

Robbo

Daws King Chimmy

Lennon Tainio JJ Zokora Keane

Berbs Defoe

Only way to go, although I fear Jol doesnt have the balls or nouse to do it. Those changes should have been made as soon as their second went in, Jol might have left it too late, Mourinho would have made two changes by now.

why am i not surprised by this scoreline?

no offence to Tottenham fans, but it was always gonna be a difficult game tonight. The 2 early goals have just made the task of staying in the competition harder if not impossible, and it's all because the Spurs players just crumbled at vital moments.

Malbranque - worst i've ever seen him play, and what were him and keane doing at the posts for the corner?

And Kanoute - how easily was he allowed into the box? against his old team?

Shame for Berbatov, great strike which hit the post & could've given em more to go on in the second half.

It's been too easy for Sevilla, which is a great shame cos Spurs really had a chance before the first 8 minutes of this game had passed.

Now they will just defend their lead into the semi's.

No Big Jono, I am not blaming Robbo. I just can't remember the last time he saved a shot that was not straight at him.
