Birmingham City have signed veteran Portsmouth striker Andy Cole on loan until the end of the season. Cole, 35, has made only five starts for Pompey since joining from Manchester City for £500,000 in August 2006.

This is a very good loan signing for Birmingham, Cole has scored goals wherever he's been.

Good signing for Brum should bolster their promotion push and im sure with Cole's ability and proven goalscoring record he can do a job at that level.

andy cole scores goals wherever he goes. im sure he'l score a few for birmingham, and secure their promotion. his experience should go well with the young talent of players like bendtner and dj campbell
