Leeds United Ladies today announced their new management team
will be Manager Rick Passmoor and Assistant Manager Leanne Hall.

Rick Passmoor will be the new first team manager, he is an experienced A Licence coach, who has coached some of the best young players in the men’s game at the Leeds United Academy, where he has an excellent reputation as both a coach and in the network of football development.

Rick works full time for ‘Football in The Community‘ at Leeds United and he is no stranger to the women’s game, as he is the Leeds United Girls Centre of Excellence Director.

I thought it was funny that Leanne would be assistant but I hope she is back playing soon Cool

Good luck to Leeds, hopefully fresh people at the helm with move things on quickly. I just worry about where the money will come from for them next season.

It seems there's a new buyer thrown their hat in, but HM Revenue & Customs seemed to have their claws ito Bates, and even about 4 hours ago on the radio they were talking about them going down the chute.

So, who knows?

Leeds Utd have until 5pm on Monday to get a deal sorted or it's bye-bye.

But, would that affect the ladies?

I saw leeds for the fourth time this season and saw their first win. I must admit they are a friendly little club with one of (in my view) female footballs nicest players in sue smith

I agree there - Sue is one of the nicest people I've met - not just in footie either.

She is a really lovely person. Smile

She's much nicer than Leeds men like Jack Charlton used to be Very Happy

I can't imagine her using two hands to thump the goalkeeper in the stomach as they go up for a corner as he used to do (and get away with - who says refs are worse these days Laughing)

Leeds ladies are in the local paper tonight a nice feature on them ironic the day the mens team don't win their appeal (I've no time for mr bates after the lack of support shown to the womens team)

Sue said in her column she has been in nottingham with faye white signing autographs and smiling and some kids were waving to her and she waved back and they gave her the V sign I assume this was just sue

to Leeds Ladies who held out fpor so long before falling under the sheer power, poise and pace of the Arsenal Ladies in the Cup Final. But for their keeper Telford, it would have been all over by half-time......and so the Arsenal girls march on and are wortht double winners again and again...... Laughing
