And this one? I have a sneaking suspicion that Milan will pinch this. Their experience and class might see them through, although Man Utd are the younger and fresher.

Milan just for me.

It will be intresting. Milan tonight were very good on the ball in the 1st half & 2nd half defended well when needed. But I dont think they'll be able to last against the likes of Rooney & Ronaldo. So I'll go for United, just about but I wouldnt write Milan off the experience of the side might prove to be a big factor.. I cant believe United are going to pay 30mil for Hargreaves.

doesnt really work like that does it. West Ham beat Man Utd, so they should be top of the prem?...

back to the topic, i believe Man Utd can win this tie. but the away fixture will be hard, especially with the crowd troubles.

Well If they play with that cocky attitude they'll be going nowhere.

ffs do you two ever stop arguing!!

It wont be easy, Milan are only 5th because of their points reduction at the start of the season. Ill go for a United win, I dont think Milans defence have the pace to cope with Uniteds pacey attack and we should just have enough to make it through

It's a thing known as sarcasm, tdv old boy Wink

And it's £17 million for Hargreaves as quoted today by the Bayern big cheeses so stop exaggerating.

Its still about €25-30m in Euro though, hes not worth that. I watched him closely tonight and hes poor on the ball, good hard working honest guy but hes got no creativity or no technical ability. I wouldnt mind having him but we can get a much better player for that sort of money

Yeah, tonight he didn't play well but in the first leg he did. He would be coming in as a defensive midfielder, not a creative attacking midfielder. That is exactly what we need, and he's English so I'd be happy with it.

Is it really worth 25-30mil? Come on you could by someone like Makelele or Gattuso for that price.

I'm glad Milan won tonight, I really want to see how Kaka fairs against this United team. I'm interested to see how Uniteds defence and Midfield deal with him, his through balls and great technique, I hope he takes the p!ss.

Aye when they are nearing the end of their careers and Hargreaves is only 26.

I hope that Milan qualify because seeing the teams that there are in the semifinals I want that Milan win the Champions.

Milan always are there and sometimes you don't know how they qualify but they qualify. The problem of Milan are their strikers. Gilardino doesn't score a lot of goals, Oliveira isn't a great striker and Inzaghi is a bit old. But they can beat Manchester, Champions League is the only title that they can win this season and will only think in it.

Come on Milan !!

Anticipating two cagey but decent footballing games. I agree it wil b very interesting to see how United deal with the likes Of Pirlo, Kaka, Seedorf and the like. Roma may be 2nd in Serie A, but this will be a far trickier tie for the Reds. If they shut off the supply fed through from Kaka and Seedorf forward to the likes of Inzaghi then they will do well but thy cannot let those two get hold off the ball and start controlling the game. I think United will do it though. They're playing with such grace and control, and will IMO, just do enuoh to overcome Milan by a goal or two at the maximum.

2)revenge for the final lost against Liverpool

It's certainly gonna be a tougher tie than Roma but I think Utd will win , not by a huge scoreline though Wink Hopefully there wont be the trouble that the fans had to put with against Roma.

All this talk of Milan's experience is all well and good, and yes they did beat us when we played them last time. But as Sir Alex said in the post match interview Ronaldo and Rooney were kids two years ago and have now matured and learnt from that.

I don’t think the likes of Cafu and Maldini will be able to keep up with the pace of Rooney and Ronaldo (that is if we set out like we did). Control of the midfield will be paramount and Carrick needs to perform like he did against Roma.

It probably wont be any easy affair, but I’m sure we said that before we played Roma, well lets see what happens and if we are 3 up in 19 mins you never know Rolling Eyes

Dont you worry. People there in Madonina are very polite, apart from a few Inter fans. This gonna be a close tie, and hopefully Man Utd will make me happy again, put those rossoneri out!
