ARE UEFA CORRUPT?

This morning as I was leaving for work I was watching sky sport news good morning sports fans, they had their segment on reviewing the papers, anyway UEFA are really worried that if it turns out to be an all English final there will be major trouble between the fans, especially if it is a Liverpool Vs Manchester United final.

So my question is this will UEFA put a ref in charge that is biased towards Milan, i am fully confident that on a level playing field on and play to our best we can beat anyone. But if a ref is deployed that is giving all or majority of 50-50 to Milan then we will be playing 12 men.

Just wondering what everyone else thinks, I mean English fans are viewed negatively abroad when we shouldn’t be, our fans are treated like animals when then shouldn’t be, so I’m not surprised that Uefa my be plotting a play like this.

I think United v Liverpool would have less trouble than either team v Milan. The italian fans r mental!

Are you dumb did u not read what I wrote I said I’m not worried about losing, because if we play like we know we can will beat anyone, but I wouldn’t put it past UEFA to chose a ref who was Milan biased hence them being corrupt.

I personally I’m not making excuses if we lose its fine as long as we lose because we deserved to, like in 2005 when Milan beat us.

i think uefa will try avoid Liverpool v Man U at all costs and rightly so, as much i would love that final just think of the violence, athens police would not be able to cope with 30- 40,000 fans of each side

Nah, I don't think this idea of the conspiracy, to avoid an all english final, makes any sense..

UEFA got their wish when Barcelona won it last year. Did anyone notice all the decisions they got from referees last season. Chelsea had to play the whole match with 10 men as did Arsenal. Shevchenko scored a perfect goal in the Nou Camp and it was strangley disallowed.

Cmon stop talking rubish and concentrate on play football. Dont start looking for excuses for a possible defeat before the kick off. Do your job and eliminate Milan please

It's not corrupt but there are 4 english, spanish, and italian clubs in the CL while some countries are not present in this CL . It is a european competition (between them ).

I Read something very strange last night, I can't remember where I read it but it said if the Champions League final was all English UEFA are thinking about changing the venue. Now that is ridiculous! It's probably just a rumour though.

It's not the first time two teams from the same country has faced in the Champions League final. It alsho happened in 2000 (Real Madrid - Valencia) and also in 2003 (AC Milan - Juventus). I don't see why anything is gonna change if two english teams face in this edition

it's not the first time but the same country final are only happened to the countries who had more chances to go to the finals, why 4 teams in CL ? there should be only one team by country, only the champions of each countries. The all english finals should be reserved for Uefa cup not the CL.

This CL is boring, it's nothing to compare between the old european cup and this CL.

In the past all the matchs were in 2 legs, and there could have been a Juventus - Real in the first rounds, there was no favouritsm. It was a Cup and the matchs were more intense because the teams don't calcultate, they play at the high level in all matchs. It was not the slow matchs that we used to see today always stoped for a something or else in this CL.

That could be good, The Greeks won't be too happy though.

Let's stop speculating and reserve judgement on the two games.

In Answer to your statement.Of course they are corrupt.All they care about is money and they base their decisions soleley on that.Look at how for an eternity named the player of the year as a striker.Decisions like that hurt the game and lead it towards a less sophisticated environment.
Uefa make me sick,they are completely biased imo especially when it comes down to thier policy on racism.Fining teams 3,000 euros is a complete slap in the face of anyone who has suffered to those cowards.If you really want to stamp it out deduct points.
Like soemone said though,i think an all English Final wouldbe a more civil affair going by the recent trend on hooligan activity.Man U v Liverpool would be the more boring game imo.Man U v Chelsea would be great.Or a Liverpool v Milan rematch.
Liverpool won't continue niether will Man U.It will be Chelsea v Man U and i think that might be the more volatile of the match ups in terms of fans.
