Arsenal for the Premiership

I can't believe everyone seems to be writing off Arsenal for the Premiership. Even bookmakers like paradisebet are offering 3 - 1 for Arsenal to win the tite. Am I the only one who thinks Arsenal are going to win the league?

well you know how it it , Chelsea fans think they will regain the title, Man Utd fans think they can still win it again . But us Arsenal fans know we will do it so let them all live in fantasy land for the time being.

Actually I don't see many United fans going around saying that we will win the league. I see alot more Arsenal fans though saying how they are still the best team in the premiership, and that they are so much better than United, and have a much better team blah blah blah.

Maybe it isnt United and Chelsea fans that are living in fantasy land.

The truth of the matter is that Chelsea are going into the season as favourites, however any one of the 3 are capable of winning the league.

With odds as good as 3 - 1 with paradisebet.com I'm sure to have a bet on the Gunners.

I'd really love to say Arsenal will the Premiership, but sadly i think Chelsea will win it again-in fact i think they will win the double. But i agree with O Dogg it could be any one of the top three, however i think United are the least likely out of the three.

I had a bet on Arsenal at less than 3/1, I think I'll have another bet now the odds are even better.
We seem to be the underdogs this year, and that seems to help somehow.

Out of interest how much are you going to bet as my mate bet a few grand and paradisebet.com don't seem to have a limit.

A few grand! Blimey, the only time I've ever bet more than a tenner each way was on a free £50 horseracing win bet - and it came second unfortunately.

Just thinking about that, ie having a few grand to throw around in a bookies,
I bet I'd still lose.

ok , i`ll take off my rose tinted glasses now . The truth is Chelsea will again be the ones to beat and Arsenal and Man Utd will renew their annual `who is the better team` argument . I think Arsenal will finish above Man Utd whatever happens , the crucial games will be the ones between the top three.

In my opinion Arsenal and Man U have a chance of winning the premiership this season but i'm almost certain that Chelsea will lift the trophy.

You've lost your rock in midfield, your captain. I think u will find it hard to regain the league title this season.

To be totally honest, unfortunately I think Chelsea will do it again.

Vierra was hardly a rock in midfield last season and even the year before he did not play that well, i think we have a great chance , remember Chelsea are now defending the title which is a lot different than trying to win it , the pressure will be huge .

Alot of Arsenal fans I talk to on another forum have said that he was which is why the dont feel they have a as much a chance of winning the league when he was an Arsenal player.

It will affect ur team massively and u also have pressure on u to perform without him.

Yes, Chelsea have pressure, a great deal but when wont they? They have the money to buy any player they wish to. They can chuck in as much money as they wish to without worrying about not actually have it to spend. Alot is expected of them.

well everyone has different views but i dont think Wenger would have sold Vierra if he still thought he was "our rock in midfield" . His form was patchy last year which was probably because of the Real Madrid
link and that is why i do not think it is such a blow as others do.
We still have a few weeks left so who knows what Wenger is planning , but he will not let Chelsea run away with the title like last year , Chelsea were not expected to win the title last year so that is why there is added pressure and because of the money they have every team will be trying that little bit harder against them .
I agree it will be hard to beat them but not impossible as most people believe .

I agree that he will be missed greatly. No matter how you want to dress it up, Viera was and is exceptional. Although he dipped in form over the last couple of seasons, he was still a very valuable member of your team. He was captain, and was a true leader on the pitch.

Im not sure Henry has it in him to be Captain. Similar to Owen. He is too much of a nice guy in my oppinion, and you need people who can shake up the team if needed.

It is a matter of wait and see as I said before.

Shes right Conner, you guys need to replace Vieira with someone class before the season starts or i'm i think it will hand even more of an advantage to Chelsea.

But i have a feeling Wenger does have that player lined up, but is keeping hush about it so noone steals him.
