Lennon set to end Celtic career |
|
Neil Lennon is to leave Celtic at the end of the season, BBC Scotland understands.
The controversial Northern Irishman, who celebrated his fifth championship success at the weekend, is keen to pursue a coaching career in England. Lennon has enjoyed a colourful career in Scotland since signing from Leicester City in December 2000. The 35-year-old's final game for Celtic will be the Scottish Cup Final against Dunfermline on 26 May. You have been a brilliant servant to the club Lenny, goodluck in the future. I think it is the right time to move on and start a career in coaching. |

Will be missed around the club. Good to see him end on a high. Still would have loved to see him score against the Gers |

Is Hampden bigger than the Celtic Park or not ?
|

Celtic Park is the biggest then Hampden then Ibrox. But i think Ibrox is getting mad bigger by about 7000 so then it will be bigger than Hampden.
When Hampden was built it should have been mad so all stands were close to the park like the millenium stadium. But they decided to build it like a European stadium so if you behind the goals you struggle to see teh pitch. |

Celtic Park is slightly bigger.
Hampden has around 52,000 whereas Celtic Park holds around 60,000. |

Stade de France is great for that, because the stands move, it takes a day to move it. This stadium can be used for athletism and when there is a football match, they moved the stands near the pitch to have a better view. Because in France most of the stadiums have their stands near the pitch.
Me and Platini have been surprised by the quality of the pitch and the grass of Hampden. |

As surprised as you were when Scotland beat you there recently in the Euro Qualifiers, haha?
|

Hampden Park is a dirty sh*thole. It must have changed alot since you 'Gers fans have been in there (as a 'Gers fan)

i was not surprised, it seems before this match that Scotland had a good team. There was already 2 or 3 matchs played in this group before Scotland - France, and Scotland had a very good start.
But i was surprised by the pitch of Hampden because it rained a lot and the grass drink the water like a spong and the quality of the grass stay the same, even at the end of match the grass was beautiful. |
