Bolton interest in Hibs' Murphy

Bolton Wanderers are tracking Hibernian's English left-back, David Murphy, BBC Sport understands.

Representatives of the English Premiership club were at Hampden Park on Tuesday to see Murphy in action in the Scottish Cup semi-final replay.

But Murphy had a quiet game as Hibs lost 1-0 to Dunfermline.

The 23-year-old has been a regular starter for the Scottish Premier League outfit since arriving from Middlesbrough in summer 2004.
