It was a great flying header by Wambach for the first. Carli Lloyd's goal was a cracker , she loves striking them from distance.
NZ could only score from a penalty , and poor Bri Scurry conceded it after coming on for Solo |

Scorers where : Boxx , Lilly , Tarpley and O'Reilly. There was a slight concern when Wambach went off injured early in the first half but x rays showed no bad damage and she should be fit for the w/c
