Bad game by both teams. Liverpool wasnt unlucky as many are saying, as johaldo said the linesmen made two mistakes and both against Milan, one give Liverpool a goal and the other denied Kaká the chance of find himself alone in front of Reina.

Kaká wasnt brilliant, and I didnt expect him to be cause Mascherano was close all the time. Although, when he had some freedom to work he done his job, getting a foul near the box, earning the maledetti rossoneri the first, and giving a great assistance to that lucky bstard Inzaghi score. And if you think that pass of Kaká is a so easy one to do benraul, why your football god Gerrard didnt make one too?? If he is so perfect as you reds never get tired of repeating, it would be piece-of-cake for him to do such a easy pass like Kaká's.

MALEDETTI ROSSONERI! (maledetto gerrard too)

yer it would, shame that no one had made that position like Inzaghi for him to pass the ball to.

SPOT ON!

Ben, although I do to a degree respect your footballing views, I cannot believe that you are MOTM with all the BS you are coming out with.

"Pennant better than Kaka" is right up there with "Gerrard is better than Kaka". You're a legend Benny! Laughing

The only person who sucks dcik is you sucking Gerrard's. Where was he? I'll tell you where. NOWHERE! What happened to Istanbul?!!! West Ham FA Cup Final??!!

On 62 minutes, he had the chance to put Liverpool back in the game.

NO
LEFT
FOOT.

All you're doing is explaining back exactly what I told you about Kaka i.e. he was never going to be as influential in this match. He didnt shine like he did against united but he still produced the magic whe it mattered, and if you think that pass was sunday league stuff then you don't know anything about football.

The reason is said it should of been 3 - 0 bent
It's just typical Liverpool sour grapes.

i to normally agree with your footballing view. The only thing i ever seem to have a different opinion with you is on the suject of Liverpool. And i dont think it is down to me being biased, ut down to you being biased in your dislike for us, for no reason.

I do NOT think Pennant is better than Kaka, but he played better than Kaka did in the final. I also dont think Gerrard is better than kaka. I just would not swap the two players, even if Kaka would do a better job for us, cos Gerrard is Liverpool through and through and us fans love him.

OK, we are still going around in circles here. At the end of the day, he did set up that 2nd goal. But it was not magic. I think a pass like that can be done on a sunday league pitch, in a Championship match. It was not magic. But that was what the situation needed. It didnt need a magical pass. He supplied it. But to say it was magic is way over the top for me.

That was my point Benny: how can you say Pennant was better than Kaka on the night? Kaka didn't play his best, Pennant played better than normal. But if you analyse the contributions to their teams in the game, Kaka still comes out on top. Pennant frightened Jankulovski with his pace, but where was his end product? He had a decent shot in the first half but other than the corner for the offside goal, he ran and ran and ran but didn't supply enough quality ball into the box. And he only had one direct opponent in Jankulovski. Kaka was hounded by Alonso and Mascherano as well as both centre backs but still managed to threaten Liverpool's defence.

I don't dislike Liverpool as such. It just bugs me when Reds like you can't handle criticism of your team because you are so biased. Where was the God Gerrard? You say Kaka's pass was sunday league stuff, what about Gerrard's miss? That was the second biggest moment of the match. Where was his left foot?

Nowhere.

very very ture Johaldo, it was a pathetic excuse of a shot, and i admit that. He should have put his left foot through it, i have got no idea why he didnt as he has scored plenty with his left. It was poor.

THe thing is, i understand how people being biased towards their team is annoying. But i genunily do not think i am. If you ask anyone of my friends who are Liverpool fans, they would say i am way to harsh on them. I am constantly striving for improvement and can be one of Liverpools biggest critics. For example - I do not believe Reina is the best keeper like has been stated b4, i think there are about 6 at least keeprs who are better in the prem alone. Out strike force is poor. We can be SO boring away from home, that it is painful to watch, and like you say negative. I will admit when star players dont play well, like gerrard Vs Chelsea for example.
I just feel i have to defend them on here alot because of other people being biased towards their own teams/players. People make observations on here with not knowing the full story as well as sometimes not evening watching the games properly that they are supposed to be evaluating (not implying you, just people in general) That is why it can come across has being biased and not handling criticism. The thing is, i can handle it when it is constructive and indeed warranted. The most recent example i can think o on here is the Stamford Bridge leg of the semi, go back and read that. I was very critical. But equaly, i will praise Liverpool when i think they have done well.

Regarding Pennant. He was up there as one of our better players with Alonso, and did well i think. Granted he didnt have a final product, but that does not mean you did not play well. I think was affective in dragging the play wide, cos i remember on a number of occasions he would have 2/3 players around him therfore enabling us to have more men in better positions in the middle of the park. His job was not just about what he did on the ball as i am sure you are very much aware.
I also see your point about Kaka. I will be honest with you, if you were not on this forum, i would not have said half the stuff i said about Kaka 9sunday league stuff for example). Its just that i reckon had that been Gerrard who was pretty quiet in the game yet got fouled which lead to a goal, and did an easy pass for another you would be doing the same. Just cos it is Kaka you are making it out to be better than it was.

I wouldn't have given the breakdown of the pass had you not dismissed it in the first place, Ben. You called it a Sunday league pass so I had to step in there. I maintain that although it wasn't Kaka's best game (and I didn't expect it to be as he would recieve more attention) he still played well and set up the winner and was involved in Milan's best moves.
