New deal for Edgar

Newcastle defender David Edgar has signed a new two-year contract.

The 19-year-old Canadian, who scored his first senior goal for the club in a 2-2 draw with Manchester United on New Year's Day, will remain at St James' Park until at least 2009.

yeh good stuff. brilliant to see the youngsters such as carroll troisi and edgar are continuing on at Newcastle. they are brilliant young talents.
