Just like Steely said, "im talking about leaving their children in an unlocked appartment in a foreign country." I too am a parent and would never dream of leaving my kids (at the McCann's ages) alone in an unlocked room in a foreign country while I went out swinging! Evil or Very Mad

"They need to hear it from the authorities first before they then decide what to do and what to say."

The photo is indistinct but does appear to bear a resemblance to the missing four-year-old.

It was the fourth suspected sighting of Madeleine in Morocco.

A Norwegian woman believes she saw the girl at a petrol station in Marrakesh, a second suspected sighting was near a hotel in Rabat and another woman from northern Morocco has also come forward to say she believes she saw the youngster.

"Hopefully, this not only will lead to finding Madeleine, of course, but if it helps bring the focus of everything back onto the search for her, that's all for the good as well," said Mitchell.

"When we were there, we were very encouraged by the Moroccan police. They said that, because of their extensive police network in the country ... 'if Madeleine is in Morocco, we will find her.'"

Madeleine went missing on May 3 while her family were on holiday in Portugal triggering an international search and a high-profile campaign.

Portuguese police have named her parents as suspects, but they deny any involvement and say they believe she is still alive.

that is horrendous parenting. whether they actually played a part in her death/abduction is not important for this fact.

what has their origins or where they come from got to do with it? would you be backing a single parent mum from Hackney if she left her kids alone and went clubbing?

Steely is right about the above , a previous member earlier noted that the Mcanns only did what many parents do all the time with their kids (ie..leave them alone)and everything is fine and no one is any the wiser . Well i say all those people they are being negligent in their duty as parents . I also would never dream of leaving any kid on their own in any room anywhere , it is just how i am and how i regard my own responsibilities as an adult , and as he mentioned the guilt of them does not hide the fact that they were negligfent in their duties as parents and their actions led to their daughters dissapearence and ..little Maddie is the one i feel most for ....a lovely 4 year old girl who after having the best day ever , most likey then had the worst evening ever ...and the worst thing is we may never know what happened to her ..

absolutely not.

i stand by everything i said.

the media never conducted a witch hunt. they have (in the majority) been very supportive of the parents. perhaps things have been different outside the UK.

Na it was British media that recently were forced by the courts to retract and apologise for printing stories suggesting the guilt of the parents in the disapearance of Madeline. Havent heard of any foreign ones acting in the same way, apart from Portugese ones I guess.
