Teenage goalkeeper Mark Ridgers (brother of Caley's Ally) has moved to Hearts from Ross County for an undisclosed fee.
The 16-year-old is the latest player to emerge from the Highlanders' development scheme since Gary Mackay Steven agreed terms with Liverpool. County's director of football George Adams said: "It's a great move for Mark but it is also great news for the club. "Along with Gary's move to Liverpool it shows that our youth development system is paying dividends" The deal is thought to be around £80,000 to £100,000. Another one of our younger player's going to a big team for big money. I'm suprised they didn't sign Joe Malin, who's full name is Joseph Malinauskus, he's half Lithuanian |

Well, if big Craig's off to Sunderland we might need the lad sooner rather than later. Alternatively, a decent bet would be even bigger Joe Lewis of Norwich City?

Yeah he is a big guy, and at least he's better than his brother. It'll be good for him to learn from Craig but if he had stayed at us he would be learning from a master, Tony Bullock |

Gordon's gone, so's Jim Stewart. Banks is the only 'senior' 'keeper we've got. I'd like to see him alternate with one of the younger 'keepers like Jamie MacDonald, Milan Barjaktarevic or even Haraldur Bjornsson rather than Eduardas Kurskis, another Lithuanian flop!
