Galway United manager Tony Cousins has parted company with goalkeeper Dimitri Brinias with immediate effect.
Brinias joined the Tribesmen before the start of the 2007 season but has failed to appear since the first game of the season.
The 23-year-old Australian slipped down the pecking order at Terryland Park and Cousins has opted to draw a line under his time at the club.
Gary Rogers, the former Drogheda United and Bray Wanderers goalkeeper, has made the first-choice position his own, while veteran Alan Gough has been serving as back-up in recent weeks.
