What a shocking display from the teams from the north apart from beating derry away with a reserve team there was nothing to shout about in this cup for Glentoran. As a result the Glens sacked there boss. Anyone in the south intrested......

Well I read this week theyre thinking of changing the format of the Cup around so the Northern teams will have more of a chance! Its going to be later in the year and the Irish First Division Champions are going to be included instead of the team 2nd in the Prem League

It actually was a stute fan that said it Laughing I read it on the Finn Harps forum.

Something should be done to liven it up, it has the potential to be a quality cup competition ifeverything works out

Yeah actually you're right...

Dont know who you're on about at Harps, we got Shaun Williams from Drogheda the other day on loan, Stuart Malcolm from Shels signed last week on a full time deal. I wouldnt really call either big signings though...

Ah Cornelius Gallagher, wouldnt call him a big signing though. Only signed him from a local club in Donegal. Hes signed on a full time deal though and apparently is a good player.

We got a right back today from Dunfermline, Aaron Labonte. Young English player who's got plenty of experience, played in 2 Scottish Cup finals so he should be a real quality signing

Dont really know tbh! Linfield are always there or there about. Drogheda & St Pats will probably challenge as well. You wouldnt know with Derry either with Kenny back in charge.

Ill go with Pats though, theyve spent plenty of money over the past month and seem to have a really good team this season

This threads gone a bit off topic but I suppose at least theres something being said in here!

So anyway, I probably wont get to many at the start of the season because of where I live, really awkward to get to games. Im moving to Letterkenny for college in the Summer though so ill make most home games in the 2nd half of the season hopefully.

Do you go to many games yourself?
