We have the World Cup coming up next year and providing we qualify of course Michael Owen will have plenty of chances to add to his impressive tally of goals .

It will surely only be a matter of time before he overhauls Bobby Charltons all time record of 49 goals , but is he or will he go on to be Englands greatest ever goalscorer.

As it stands it has to be Bobby Charlton

Ive never seen Sir Bobby Charlton play, but ive seen his goal record and its very impressive, but im going to have to say Michael Owen, on the basis i have seen him, and i think he will break the record, he is still only 25 and will play alot more times for England and will set very high standards for the next record, he is one of the best finishers in the world.
