Bent and Petrov next

Im hearing.

Petrov to join after Spanish league finishes and we are confident we can tie up the Bent deal and fend off the other clubs advances for him.

both wud be quality signings althou havnt seen as much of petrov what type of player is he jono? crosser of the ball or clever and gets past ppl more often

He looks quality YoBBo. I've only seen him playing live a few times but he was pretty impressive. He seems to have an incredible engine and some serious pace. He can whip in a mean cross and is even capable of scoring from outside the box, unlike Lennon.
It'd be great if Petrov could settle at Spurs, along with Berbatov. If they both perform well then they could be at Spurs for quite a few years, which would add a nice bit of stability to the team as a whole. Berbatov would no-doubt be delighted to have a fellow countryman around the place.

If we manage to capture these two players then I'll be ecstatic.

Dont want Torres, not sure his game would work in the Premiership, too much of a gamble. Dont know why but think he will flop when he gets here.

Id much rather sign Bent and keep Defoe.

Berbs, Keane, Defoe, Bent would be the best strikeforce in the Premiership.

Heard that guily one too thru the grapevine, nothing solid on it yet tho. Maybe we have him lined up as a backup if we dont get Petrov.

Worth a pop @ £1.5 million for Guily BJ, think we'd stand more of a chance of getting him than Newcastle but they will offer him silly wages, which tbh at his age i'd take it.

if thats the case thats a couple of excellent signings. I really expect teams like Tottenham, Newcastle and West Ham Villa etc to push the big boys. There will be no easy games next year and I think there will be like in the rugby league super league plenty of upsets every weekend. I can see at least one of the big 4 dropping out and I cannot wait for next year. Will that Petrov to fill the role in lm for Tottenham if he joins.

Defoe wanted to leave and thought one of the big four would be in for him. Only interest has been from Spam and Villa tho so Spurs have offered him a new 3 year deal and he only has limited time to sign it, or else we are gonna sell him to one of them.

i dont want to see defoe leave but Bent is a great player and would be the perfect replacement
